"We know that an adequate supply of housing is an ongoing challenge.  There is a shortfall of almost 7 million rental units and a single-family home supply shortage of roughly 3.8 million units.*

*There Is No Easy Fix For The Affordable Housing Crisis

THE PROBLEM

THERE IS A SERIOUS SHORTAGE OF HOUSING.

Many US markets are desperate for more affordable rental options.

CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE SKY-HIGH.

Building materials, land & labor costs have skyrocketed with prices not expected to return to pre-pandemic levels.

COVID CHANGED EVERYTHING.

How people work. Where people want to live. The pandemic, along with a whole host of factors has amplified how people decide where to live.

THE OPPORTUNITY

WE FOCUS ON ACQUIRING PROPERTIES (WHERE PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE) FOR MUCH LESS THAN IT COSTS TO BUILD NEW.

  • Acute shortage of housing options largely due to the lack of new construction since the 2008 market crash.
  • US Median Single Family-Home Price projected to increase 16% (Year over Year) in 2022*.
  • Construction Materials projected to increase 17.5% (Year over Year) in 2022*.
  • US Wage Growth is lagging and only expected to increase 5.1% (Year over Year) in 2022*.
  • Increased migration to Southern States is driving significant rent increases in many of those markets.

Any one of these factors could have an impact on the amount of people renting instead of buying. We believe that several of these factors combined create an opportunity for us to provide rental housing while earning outsized returns.
There is no shortage of demand for rental housing and we intend to capitalize on these trends by acquiring properties in the path of growth throughout the Southern United States.
